Wheel Fun Staff

Meet the team that keeps Wheel Fun rolling!

Evan Puglia – Executive Director

Evan grew up exploring the woods and creeks of rural Georgia. His passion for coaching grew from an early age as a young tennis professional and collegiate tennis player. Post college, Evan chased his dreams of skiing and mountain biking for 12 years in Vail Colorado. His love for travel landed him in Sedona, AZ where he can be on his bike year round. Evan and his partner Amaryth started the Sedona Mountain Bike Academy where they teach mountain bike lessons and clinics to people from all over the world. His love for youth coaching landed him as volunteer coach for Wheel Fun over 4 years ago. Evan and Wheel Fun have grown together over time and are humbled to offer bike clubs throughout Arizona. Outside of biking you can find him thrifting, mixing music, traveling and exploring the great unknown.

Emilio Perez – Southeast Regional Manager

Emilio grew up in Marana, Arizona, spending his days exploring the cotton fields, river washes, and anywhere else his mountain bike could take him. His passion for community service led him to volunteer with his local police department, supporting officers on patrol, taking calls for service, and engaging in community outreach. Because of his dedication to his community, Emilio received The President’s Volunteer Service Award, a civil award bestowed by the President of the United States. He is now in his final year at the University of Arizona, set to graduate with degrees in Law and Broadcast Journalism. After graduation, he plans to continue his education by obtaining his pilot’s license. Emilio brings a unique and extensive background to Wheel Fun, and outside of work, he enjoys aviation, detailing his car, and creating video content. His multifaceted experiences and interests make him a dynamic and valuable addition to the Wheel Fun team.
