TELL YOUR AZ STATE INCOME TAXES WHERE TO GO AND HELP FUN BUILD A BIKE SKILLS PARK AT OAK CREEK SCHOOL!Oak Creek School (OCS) in Cornville has limited on-campus area for mountain bike skills progression training. The baseball field is filled with tire flatting goat heads and the soccer field is used by various school teams so the after-school mountain bike clubs use a small grassy campus area for this purpose.

Oak Creek School (OSC) Mountain Bike Skills Park OCS students experience the following socioeconomic and family dynamic stressors every day: poverty; hunger insecurity; dysfunctional family environment due to divorce, death, unemployment, incarceration, and/or drug/alcohol abuse; all while Arizona schools rank 49th in the nation. Oak Creek students experience frequent vandalism and theft requiring regular law enforcement patrols. Many students arrive home after-school to empty houses and play video games. The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District has committed the above large parcel on campus to create this bike skills park. The build will be "by students for students" by the Verde Academy for Career Technical Education (VACTE). The Catena Foundation funded the preliminary design documents. We're now raising $$$ for build documents, fill dirt, VACTE supervision by a professional trail building association member firm and features.
