TELL YOUR AZ STATE INCOME TAXES WHERE TO GO AND HELP FUN BUILD A BIKE SKILLS PARK AT OAK CREEK SCHOOL!

Oak Creek School (OCS) in Cornville has limited on-campus area for mountain bike skills progression training. The baseball field is filled with tire flatting goat heads and the soccer field is used by various school teams so the after-school mountain bike clubs use a small grassy campus area for this purpose.

FUN is an Arizona Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO Code 22015). Donations to FUN qualify for AZ Charitable Tax Credits and reduce your AZ state tax liability dollar-for-dollar up to $400 (single) and $800 (joint). Please help FUN build this bike skills park!

Oak Creek School (OSC) Mountain Bike Skills Park

OCS students experience the following socioeconomic and family dynamic stressors every day: poverty; hunger insecurity; dysfunctional family environment due to divorce, death, unemployment, incarceration, and/or drug/alcohol abuse; all while Arizona schools rank 49th in the nation. Oak Creek students experience frequent vandalism and theft requiring regular law enforcement patrols. Many students arrive home after-school to empty houses and play video games.

The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District has committed the above large parcel on campus to create this bike skills park.

The build will be "by students for students" by the Verde Academy for Career Technical Education (VACTE).  The Catena Foundation funded the preliminary design documents.

We're now raising $$$ for build documents, fill dirt, VACTE supervision by a professional trail building association member firm and features. The next $25,000 in donations are matched dollar-for-dollar.

For your generosity, you will receive...

  • Arizona state income tax credit of up to $400 single/$800 married filing jointly. A tax credit reduces your state income taxes dollar-for-dollar so your contribution is at no net cost to you.
  • For 2020 only, you can deduct up to $300 single/$600 married filing jointly from your income for charitable deductions regardless if you itemize.

  • If you itemize your federal taxes, the 60% charitable contribution cap has been waived for 2020.

  • Bike smiles from all 300 students enrolled at OCS!

Thank you!!!!
